Remote Registered Nurse DRG Appeals Reviewer (CCS or CIC)

Compensation Notes: $90,000 – $96,000 Annually

Daily Responsibilities For a Registered Nurse DRG Appeals Reviewer

Review previously denied inpatient claims to confirm the denial was appropriateRe-evaluate DRG assignment, coding, and clinical documentationComplete detailed appeals reviews when providers dispute the denialUse clinical validation guidelines to determine if the original DRG/payment should stand or be adjustedSupport the clinical review team with high-level claim analysis
