Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Monarch Psychiatric NP PLLC. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing mental health nursing care, conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing medications, and delivering psychotherapy services. The role may require in-person visits for the purposes of prescribing controlled substances per federal and state laws.
Qualifications
Nurse Practitioners with specialization in mental healthExperience in mental health care and psychiatric careStrong nursing skills and knowledgeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to provide comprehensive, patient-centered careEmpathy, compassion, and sensitivity to patients’ needsActive and good standing NY State Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licenseAdditional certifications in psychiatric nursing or mental health counseling are a plusNY DEA licenseANCC Board-certified certificationMinimum 2+ years of experience, at least 3600 hours in specialtyMust live in NY, FL, or PR
Shift
Weeknights, flexible, between 4-9pmSaturdays, flexible, 8am-1pm
